Check Engine Light On?? Help Please...

Hi, I drive a 2005 Audi A4 Ultra Sport 1.8T FWD and just recently started to have some problems with it. The check engine light came on a couple of days ago, I went to Autozone to check for the code and they gave me P0722.
Definition: Output speed sensor circuit no signal.

I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible...Even though there is a check engine light on, sometimes it goes away and sometimes it comes back. Also, most of the time the e-brake light on the dashboard starts beeping as if i had my e-brake on. And at the same time the dashboard indicates that i have the left break light broken. I check the light to see if it was broken and the light is fine. Two years ago i changed the engine speed sensor so that's why I doubt the fact that it might be it. And also the fact that the check engine light goes on and off.

Any thought on this? Could it be an electrical problem or could it be the engine speed sensor again? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am no electrical whiz, but I doubt the lights and the ESS are related. I know it's only been 2 years, but did you get a good quality OEM part from Audi, or a cheaper version?
