Default Cleaning Headliner on Platinum Interior...What should I use?

My car is in need of a thorough interior cleaning. Just recently I noticed the headliner material (specifically the part on the driver's door in between the window and windshield) has gotten a couple smudges from dirty hands. I think they are from grabbing that part of the door while entering/exiting. I was just wondering if anyone knows any good products to use for that material. I was going to use that cheap carpet scrub w/ a brush from Wal-Mart, but a couple friends said I probably shouldn't. Any suggestions? Thanks

Default foaming tennis shoe cleaner from footlocker or comparable store.

Spray it on and let it foam up a little then use a terry cloth towel to wipe off. Works every time for me. And it doesn't raise the material either. Stays looking new.

I don't see why not. Make sure to test a spot first for color fading.

Griot's interior cleaner also works well...clear and not to strong...but you have to order it.
