Default Coolant Leak Location 2004 1.8T

I have a coolant leak, some where right under the intake manifold. Does any one have a good picture of what under the intake manifold? I know the coolant hardline on the top split off goes down in between intake 1 and 2 but I am not sure what else down there.

Biggest suspect is something referred to as a "J-plug". It is just behind the thermostat (see link; the "hole" you see is where the thermostat mounts). The other culprit in that area is the thermostat itself.

Thank you for your help.

Anyone has the part number for the Thermostat housing? I broke the pipe on the top of the thermostat housing (duh). TIA

You may already have it, but here is the part from ECS:

Just did it last night. $100 for the thermostat housing, $20 for the coolant tank (cracked a little). No more seaping coolant.
My J-plug cracked in half where the o-ring is. Any other option? or we just have to replace it when it cracked?

I have never heard of any option but replace. I am not a fan of JB weld or similar products to solve problems like this.

Hmm, I would thought some one may come up with metal thermostat housing and metal J-plug by now
Still smell a little coolant after 5 miles to work this morning.

If you still smell coolant, the other primary leak location on the 1.8 is the coolant flange on the back of the block. Peer between the valve cover and the firewall with a flashlight and see if the top of the transmission is "wet".
