Default remove the housing

I've always found it easiest to remove the housing. There are four torx screws IIRC. Two on top, two down low that you may need a flashlight to see. Remove and slide/jiggle the lamp housing forward. I cant recall if the B6 has a horizontal post on the inboard side of the housing or not (the B5 does), so DONT force it when removing it or you can break the post off. If it does then you have to pull the outboard side out a little first, then slide the housing 3/4" to toward the outboard side of the car, then pull it toward the front. Then twist and push to remove the turn indicator plug, change bulb, and reinstall.

Two things:

1. NEVER ever touch a bulb with you bare fingers. Get rubber gloves that are brand new (like hospital gloves) or use a very clean rag.

2. Don't turn on the car with the lamp disconnected, it throws an code that must be reset via VAGCOM.

Total time to replace is about 10 minutes.

Default I LOVE the cloth seats, leather sucks

The seat heaters get them cooking hot in under two minutes! They do stain pretty easily though, my ex gf put a big coffee stain on both the drivers and passenger seats. One day I'll get it detailed by a pro and they can steam it out.

Cloth FTW! Whereabouts in pgh are you located? There's quite a few of us that get together on occation.

Default Are you from NorCal or from Pgh?

It's always amazed me how people from across the country can be diehard Steelers fans, but I guess the 1970's created quite the following.

I got to tour the steelers locker room the other day after a business meeting and got some pics including me in from of Polamalu's locker. Pretty cool place! It was very neat to walk on the field.

GO Steelers!
