The bottom of my driver's seat backing popped out the other day.

I had a look and it seems to be missing two clips (or inserts). The clips would join the back of the seat cover with the seat by connecting the two black metal pieces on the seat backing with the black metal pieces on the seat itself.

If I wedge the seat backing to the seat itself it will stay in for a bit but will eventual pop off again. When it does this the seat backing is hanging by its connectors at the top.

Am I way off in thinking i am missing some clips? Is there a part number just for them?

Any help is appreciated.

Your tabs broke, there is a fix kit for this, but I don't know the part number do a search

Don't know how I missed your post when I searched earlier.

That write up is great silvqtro. I will order the part and try the fix myself.
