I am looking into getting exhaust done within the month of march. What i was wondering is, if i have my friend at a exhaust shop cut stock off at the cat and save it in one piece. Then i am buying nice mufflers and haveing them custom weld me an exhaust on. Will this be acceptable for lease turn in if i just weld stock exhaust back on? I am thinking of Borla, Neuspeed,etc. I want a nice tone. Not a ricey tone. ANy input will be great!

bigger polished tips would be OK and it really shouldn't be a problem unless you go overboard.
