I posted a couple days ago about problems reinstalling the tail light after replacing the brake light. Turns out, it was just too d@mn cold. When I replaced the light, it was about 15 F out. I detailed my car yesterday in an indoor bay (approx 70 F), and the ball and socket joints popped right back in. Moral of the story: live where it never drops below freezing.

replaced the bulb, put the light housing back into place, and the next day it was pop'd out. I had to unscrew it and push it back in with more force and it's stayed every since. It was about 40F out when I did the bulb swap.
