front left brake pad is going out faster than the right brake pad

front left brake pad is going out faster than the right brake pad
It have been a 1 yr since I changed the front brake pads. Now the left front brake pad is much lower than the right pad. I suspect its the caliper. Do I need to spray something to the caliper to let the piston move freely? need help........
