The air pressure in the tank has only happened once. There was definitely air escaping the tank...but nothing seen since.

Appreciate the info on the A/C system.

was getting misfires, changed valve cover gaskets, coils, plugs, vacuum lines. After that seen flash CEL twice and it vanishes within seconds.
Scans show misfires on cylinders 4, 5 and 6.
Ran a smoke test and results shows Evap purge valve has a leak.
Does anyone know if this is the root cause of the misfires?
Anything else I should consider?

Am new on this site and just bought my first Audi A6 C5 3.0 Quattro (avant).

I don't know on the 3.0, but on the 1.8 an evap leak like that would.

Thank you. I just replaced the evap Purge valve and smoke test now shows (0.16) where before it was (0.70). No CEL, but have not driven much since codes were cleared.
Hopefully by next weekend I will know for sure and post updates.
