Gas pump nozzle got stuck in my damn tank!
for some odd reason, i was pumping gas yesterday and when i was all finished, the nozzle would not release from my fuel tank. i'm not too sure what it was, but this is the second time it has happened. It has happened once at a chevron gas station, once at an Exxon gas station. Never at an Arco or Mobil. Has this ever happened to any of you guys??
thanks |
happened to me once in a while... annoying
lol, you sure you aren't filling up with one of those giant deisel pumps?! hahaha
no, because I don't pump my own gas........
Happened a couple of times to me - felt like such a dork struggling to get the thing out!
lame.
yep mee too
haha happened to me just yesterday morning- lol
I felt like a complete ass... got it out, then dropped the cap on the ground and it rolled under my car to the center- had to crawl on my belly to get it out, this was at 8 am b4 work... i had to go home and change clothes!!! |
i woulda pulled the car up some, then got it, ahah
that takes thinking ahead
the state of Oregon is for not allowing him to do that...
...if you didn't already know that.
Same with Jersey.....almost got hit when I tried to pump my own in Jersey
Would've also probably given you a CEL requiring dealer visit!
not in the 3 seconds he needed to move the car
and even if he did, all he has to do is put the cap back on, and the CEL goes off
I know why.
Because you are using SH!TTY GAS!!!!!Chevron??? Exxon??? ARCO!!!!!!!!! WTF!
Only 76 in my B6 thank you very much!!! ;) Arco = BAAAAAADDDDDDD |

Gas pump nozzle got stuck in my gas tank - 2016 Audi
Well this just happened to me on December 1 2017, stopped at Kroger at the corner of Jones/West Road to get gas once finished the nozzle would not release from my gas tank, long story short I had to drive my car with the nozzle stuck onto my gas tank to the dealership to remove it. NOW insurance company@Kroger claim gas pump nozzle is not defected but Audi gas tank is - bad design.....
It is the car's faulty design
There's a small metal lip that the pump is catching on, just take a look at where the pump would rest, and don't push the pump in so far next time.
