Hard Starts STILL? Replaced camshaft position sensor/timing belt + ETC
What now? SO this all started when I had hard starts and codes for a camshaft position sensor and a misfire. Me and the hubby replaced the sensor, nothing. The previous owner claimed the timing belt was changed at 80,000 but with the maintenance issues we have had we doubted it.
So we had that, the water pumping and timing belt tensioner changed as well, still with the hard starts. We through research and talking to other on here we thought it was a skipped tooth. We took it into a audi specialist that claimed it was a weak timing chain tensioner. We changed that ourself (couldn't help but get the feeling he was ripping us off!!!) still with the hard starts. we cleared the codes with a reg OBD-II. We borrowed a VAG-COM but it was a generic and we are having trouble with it, Do we need the reset with a vag-com to clear codes?
ANY ideas? any familiar stories? Are we missing anything? what is up with the hard starts? grrrrr just moved to a new area and started new work THUS I really need my car to work.
thanks all for the help!!!

wow! sorry I just realized I didn't even mention what car I had ^.^ I drive a 2002 A4 1.8T FWD. The codes that appear are :
<a href="http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f52/Christiet143/?action=view&current=A4troublecodes.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f52/Christiet143/A4troublecodes.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
we were unable to clear the codes with the ebay VAGCOM. (We couldn't get the shareware to work) We tried to clear the codes with a normal OBD-II from advanced autozone and the engine light went away, but after the first start but came back later. Will a regular OBD2 code clearer work? I.e. is the code an ecu issue or is their something wrong with the sensor (we've replaced sensor, timing belt, CCT, only thing left would be to check the wiring)
By hard starts, the engine has to be turned over between 2-6 times before it will start. Here is a thread I'm made previously describing the issues I'm having:

Installing the VAGCOM is pretty difficult. I had to work at it for quite a while finally realizing I needed 2 drivers installed. Once I broke that code, it seemed to work okay.
Anyway, just to recap, you have the independent guy replaced the timing belt and you said you have replaced the exhaust cam sensor (top front of engine). Did you have any other codes when the Audi guy downloaded the codes?
