Has anyone considered the Nitto NT555?
I've used Nitto tires in the past, but haven't heard about them on here at all. RENNtech uses them on their 575 HP SL55K, so it should be a good tire!
What are you thoughts? |
use to have them on my rs4s.. changed to s03s..
the nittos dont last as long as the s03s.. i find the s03s to wear less and grip more in colder weather.

A4NCAR has them
and recommends them as being a good, all around, well priced tire.

Wow! Bridsgestone S03's lasted longer then NT555?
That seems very strange. I was under the impression that the S03's did not last very long given the Max Performance rating. I also heard they were heavier then most in the same size, noisier, and harder feeling while driving. I have not had them personally, but this is the kind of feedback I have gotten.
The NT555 has been one of the better tires for me in SoCal climate; great dry/wet traction, good tread wear, relatively quiet.... I have 22K miles on them and still a good amount of tread left on them. They are 235/35-19's too. |
Sounds like they'll be good for me too in FL!

I have them. So do a few others here....
I think it is one of the better buys out there; very good dry/wet traction, tread-life, relatively quiet... I have 22K miles on mine and still good tread left on them. In the past, I have used their NT450. My next tire is the Toyo Proxes 4. I think it will be as good, if not better (even for an "AS" tire).
