Has anyone ever done VAG-mods that reverted back to stock? (m)
 

I found someone locally who was able to make a few code mods in my '04 today. We did the remote window up/down, turned on the scales along with the pointers in the instruments, and changed the lights to "Rest of World" so that the left-only/right-only parking lights worked. Everything worked when I got home. When I left for dinner a couple of hours later, the remote windows still worked, but the instrument panel and the parking light mods had reverted back to stock. Has anyone else seen something like this happen before? Any info would be appreciated!

supposedly the 03's also do this....will confirm in a couple of weeks.

My 03 has kept all coding changes

my 2000 reverted, kinda. would periodically lock when the car wasn't moving
 

then one day conveniently did it when i got out and closed my door with the car running. luckily i was at home and had my spare key.

Update...more weirdness!
 

...checked this morning when I got to work...left-only/right-only parking lights working again...

I've coded 3 03's and an 04 with no problems.

I recoded all of my cars, the first being in 1997. I've never seen this.
 

The only thing I can say, is the things you are having problems with are not coded properly.
