Headlight switch light out.
Tonight I noticed part of the rotary headlight switch is no longer illuminated. Anyone know if it is possible to remove the bulb (or LED?) or do I have to visit the dealer?
If its an easy DIY job I prefer that over making an appointment etc.

The light switch has LEDs in it, I doubt that they went wrong...
If it's like the VW Euroswitch it has two circuits in it, one to illuminate the basic switch and the off position and it's always illuminated, and the rest of the switch that gets illuminated when you actually turn it on.
Taking it out and apart is not a complicated thing, I've done it on the VW Euroswitch before (to add a rear fog being on LED, as it was missing)
But you might have something else wrong with it, maybe that part of the circuit is not getting turned on for whatever reason. It can be faulty wire going to the switch, or broken/bent connector inside the switch.
If it's under warranty, I'd let my dealer mess with it.
