help! aluminium window trim scratches - long
Does anyone know if the aluminum trim that surrounds the side windows has a coating or is it solid? I have some scratches in the trim that I would like to sand and polish out but am concerned that if the trim is coated/anodised then sanding will only make things worse. However if it is solid then I should be able to sand the scratches.

Thanks, The dealer has been trying to fix it but always seem to scratch the trim themselves. Decided to do it myself.
