I STFA, googled it, can't find a damn thing.

just 1 bolt in front of the battery and pull it out

heres how i did it, had to a few months ago .....
after you take of the plastic cover, the big one, not just the one over the battery, theres a few bolts, you might have to remove the long brace thats on the frame, i used a hex bit on a ratchet to take it off, was a PITA to take out.
after the battery is unplugged, what should have been done first, it should just come out after you remove the breather line that comes off the top. i went to a duralast battery in my car from AZ and its been working fine, had to get some more power for my system. it came with an extra line and adapter for it to connect to the regular breather line. made to fit as well, or at least the correct size. |
It's too easy for anyone to post a how to. Just find yourself the right hex bit, ratchet and 6-9"
extension.

Ok, so that cover thingy was just stuck. It is easy, I am stupid.

Re: Loosen the hold down bolt several turns...no need to
remove it to pull the battery. I just changed mine out for a Group 48 from Autozone on Wednesday night. 2003 A4. I used a long metric hex key.
