The wiper linkage (called wiper transmission in some places) on my 2002 A4 B6 is worn out or broken. The wipers didn't park properly, and when I dismantled it I saw that the splines where it is connected to the motor are missing. I bought a second hand linkage, but when it arrived it turned out to be almost as bad as the one I have, so I sent photos of it and a complaint to the dealer. They were going to send me another one, but it turns out it has the same problem, so now they are going to return my money instead. As the B7 is a few years newer, a linkage from one of them is likely to be less worn. I also find more of the B7 linkages on the web page the dealers have set up. According to 7zap.com the major part numbers are the same for the B6 and B7, but the part that is worn (crank arm) doesn't have a part number. Does a B7 front wiper linkage fit on an early B6 without the aero wiper arms?
