Was rather happy with the purolator filters and have read good reviews for them. So they make a regular filter #L30257 however there micro series would be PL30257 which seems to not exist. Lame, there new PureONE series is fully coated with a grip texture. Any thoughts?

In the mean time i settled with Mobil 1 M1-301. Would like a purolator air filter as well but once again, nobody has one...gay

The air filter is PN A45457, the cabin air filter PN is C35484.

A lot of good deals on the Mobil filters (Champion Labs) along with oil, like PepBoys (who now carries German Syntec) and AutoZone with Pennzoil Platinum, although only 30 visc. 5q of synth and a M1 filter for about $25 or maybe $20 with a cheaper filter. I have no problem with STP S3569 or the pretty awesome Fram Tough Guard with the same number. A Plain Puralator is great too, they just never made a Pure One for VWs, maybe only the small 2032XXX whatever. There are alot of big Puraltors that fit Audis, any one from the catalog works.
