So there was a time when I had a delivery job with a company who was supposed to be all about german cars and such but I never really delivered parts for german made cars. It was mostly jap cars and such.

anyways while I was there they had some products that were interesting and supposedly special to german cars like anit-freez and oil's and such.

Well my crappy dealer didn't even bother to change the oil in my 2002 A4 quattro 1.8t which I found out 500 miles after the day of purchase. (I know, I know always check but I got carried away and excited like a school girl over N'SYNC in 2000 lol)

moving on what is your favorite brand of oil to use or if there is a specific brand that is best let me know below. going to do the oil change this weekend my self since the weather is finally below 110.

P.S. my mileage is 115k.

In Australia the dealer near me uses castrol full synthetic 5w-30.
otherwise I use VAG for coolant, brake fluid, gear oil etc

SD, if in the USA, any brand of VAG spec 502.00 oil works. I'd seek out a 0W40 or 5W40.

This is obviously my first german made car and there is a lot for me to learn just not sure where to start sometimes.

I found everything I need to know based off your responce and John535is's responce as well.
