Default I seem to be slowly losing coolant, and I notice a burning smell after driving...smells like coolant

but no sign of dripping or leak....any thoughts? Coolant level was well above max and is now at min (took a year to get there, but I think it happened within the last few months)

Thanks!

Default You may want to check your coolant flange.

That's where mine was leaking.

You're absolutely positive you're smellling coolant and not oil?

Did you see any puddle or sign of leaks under car?

Default I know my VC gasket needs to be replaced, and may be dripping down causing smell, but this smells

like coolant. Isn't oil more like a burning rubber smell?

Default As it got worse I did.

Originally, I only noticed the smell. If you look between the firewall and the back of your head, look for coolant leaking down the head onto the transmission. A flashlight and a small mirror will be helpful.

Default Sort of. When I had a VC leak it smelled like some sort of fried food (not rubber).

Burnt coolant smells sweet.

Mine had a big puddle! All the coolant leaked out overnight when my flange went.

My burnt coolant does not smell sweet, that's for sure!

Default also check your radiator - just replaced mine

eventually had puddles but didn't for the longest time - leakage probably blew off while driving.

refilled coolant twice before i fixed it (would take maybe 2 months to drain)
