Default Left rear tire excessive wear

Has anyone else noticed their left-rear tire wearing out faster than the others? It's flat, even wear, just noticeably less tread left than the other three. I noticed this same exact scenario with the last set of tires - the left-rear was practically a racing slick - admitedly I hadn't done a good job rotating tires, so it was in that location for awhile.

I'm about to rotate tires now - I'll probably rotate the current left-rear into the spare position. But just wondering if I have some sort of issue which needs to be addressed at that corner.

Default Hardcore.

When was the last time you did an alignment on your car?

Default Overweight mother-in-law as rear passenger, perhaps???

How 'bout never. Thing is, I have no symptoms of misalignment - the car tracks dead straight, no uneven tire wear anywhere, no NVH. I've never seen a situation where an alignment problem was indicated by ONE tire wearing evenly, but more agressively on one corner.

Default I try to do an alignment check every 6-8 months or so...

even if the car tracks straight your alignment might be off.

Default What year is your car? Miles? Tire size? Brand? You the cars original owner?

No other tires exibits any unusual wear?

Do you have the ability to perform routine maintenance/inspections on your car?

Might be a dragging/sticking brake caliper...

Car may have been in a wreck, and was hit on that side...

2002, 75K miles 235/45-17 Michelin Pilots

I've had the car since 2004, ~45K miles.

I just checked more closely tonight, and the other three corners are totally normal, minimal wear on the tires which were new about 8K miles ago.

I checked the camber, and both rears are dead equal at 1.1 degrees negative.

With a naked eye, both rears look equally toed-in a bit, but I'm simply using the wheel arch as a visual reference point.
