Looks like that McKenna Dealership is in trouble

I heard more of the story on KNX radio yesterday...

It actually has more to do with the cops wanting to go through their sales contracts in regards to fraudulent CUSTOMERS using false ID's and SSN's to buy cars and then ship them out of country. They would hit multiple dealerships on weekends (when the banks were closed to limit the ability to verify them) and get like 5-10 cars a week. Most of the time the deal was caught as soon as the bank reviewed it, but that was usually a day or two after the car was LONG gone.

The only possible suspicion on the dealer is that there MIGHT have been an inside man in the sales or finance department, but that hasn't been established. I personally wouldn't go to McKenna (I already have established relations with another dealer), But I just wanted it known that it isn't the dealer that is in trouble here, and It would suck for thier reputation to be tarnished by that perception. Typical "in depth" reporting by the Times there. That's why I cancelled my subsciption.
