Default Mass air flow sensor testing

Don’t bother calling a parts store or a dealership. They will NOT HELP!!!!!

if no codes on scanner and you unplugged the mass air flow sensor and nothing changes. It means it’s bad right?

So you unplugged the MAF and still no codes? Something is wrong, that for sure should cause a fault code. This is a case where VCDS or any scan tool which can show in real-time the grams/second response of the MAF sensor would answer your question. Have you tried using MAF cleaner spray on the sensor element, and electrical contact cleaner spray on the connetor?
