My iPod hardwire no longer works :(
I'm assuming something came loose or melted in the heat. It worked one morning and then I got in later in the day and it didn't work. It can't be a bad fuse, so it must be a wire somewhere. Anyway just vented since I had to listen to old CDs that I had left in the changer

sorry you had to listen to CD's for a change ;-)
that does suck it quit working. in related business, how much does a hardwire adapter for our cars run? is there any way to control song selection/playlist selection from the stereo with the one you have? I'm tired of using the tape adapter. it feels archaic. and sound quality is not that good. no use having a digital signal if you're gonna run it through an analog adapter!

This appears to be the route that makes most sense ...
only problem is they don't do ones for Mrs C's Honda. Been searching TOV (Temple of VTEC) and no joy (<ul><li><a href="http://www.dension.com/icelinkplus.php">http://www.dension.com/icelinkplus.php</a</li></ul>

Thanks Chally. What kinda Honda? You guys have a people carrier? ;-)
I've been meaning to look into iPod adapters for a while. I can't decide if I want to mount it on the passenger side of the stereo, or have it like MB under the center console. I may put that on the backburner for a little while because I plan to upgrade my factory subwoofer. Don't worry, nothing crazy, just a single 10" with a modest amp. I can always burn more CD's!

Honda FR-V 2.0 sport, leather, privacy glass etc etc
Excuse the bad photo, but the important thing is the Audi is still on the drive - albeit in need of a wash !
The Honda's great round town as the VTEC engine is so willing to rev. On the motorway its no Audi.

That's pretty attractive for a family car...
It's so weird how the same company can offer such a different car in the U.K. and the U.S. Fords seem so much better on your side. You guys got that old AWD Ford Escort (can't remember what that was called) and I really like the Mondeo that's out right now as well.
