He was driving without headlights very fast. I tried to go right at the intersection when out of nowhere he zums past me on the right 20 ft. from an intersection were everyone is stopped at a red light and brakes like crazy skidding to a stop inches from the guy infront of him. I was so upset that he cut me off like that that I didn't even think to look at my mirror again. I was ready to take the right turn while sterring at the guy (who didn't eve turn aroundor come out of his car). Then I look at my mirror and its bent in. I had to make the turn b/c of all the cars behind me and parked on the side. I get out and see the front passanger fender all sratched and bent. So I start running toward the guy that is still stoppedd at the red light. As I get closer the light turns green and the guy floors it. The back tires skidding out of control. I get back to my car, pul a U turn, run a red light (safely ;)) and drive on the center divider for 50 some feet to catch up. There was so much truffic that he had no where to run. I get out of my car and start yelling at him first for not stopping and then for crashing my car. And he yells that I was the one to attempt a hit and run. He would not get out of the car or puull over until I told him I'm gonna call the police. Then he gets even more mad and tells me I cut him off (how could I driving in a right lane turning right when he obviously was going straight). I got his info and he got mine, then I called my insurance.
So now no matter what its his word against mine. I hate the LA getto by USC.

So now I have to replace the mirror cover, the fender (passanger front) and hopefully buff out tinny scratch on front passanger door.

Were should I take the car too.

I was hopping to maybe get the S4 aluminum mirror covers since insurance is paying for one side. Is that possible to hacve them pay for a aprt that was not originally on my car.

Also I heard that they might have to paint the front bumper and passanger door to achieve better color match ....is that true.....
If so could they be willing to paint an aftermarket front bumper instead.....

Do you guys know of any bodyshop or dealer in LA or SoCAl that would be willing to do that.
All I would pay for is the driver aluminum mirror and the actual unpainted front bumper.....

Could this be done????????

Did you get his license plates? You should get a police report ASAP regardless.

If there were as many other people around and he was really driving like you said then you shouldn't have had a problem getting contact info wor witnesses. Then it isn't your word against his.

if they knew how much u took care of ur car they couldn't blame it on you....

Yeah... I go to USC also, and their are just way to many retards (bluntly) driving around in this neighborhood. They can't drive, even if their life depended on it. The peds. are even worse... LOL...

Out of curiousity, where did this happen? Hoover, Adams?

At least I have underground parking, so I don't have to worry about my car being stolen.

He was the one committing a hit and run. Since he was driving a beat up chevy in the ghetto he probably had some record anyways. The cops would have had a field day.
