Hope someone can help is very got a 2003 fsi a4
Not an expert by the way

Took the car to my independent audi man in north london for a long life service

Car had issues with jerking which have been fixed with new coil packs and brake pedal switch but that was the least of my problems.

Chap said i needed a nox sensor which as u all know is mega expensive and to be honest wasnt keen on getting the job done from him as the labour charges are crazy near enough dealer prices!

i am trying to establish what make is an original nox sensor is it siemens VDO? if that makes sense?
Im trying to source one from somewhere else as this time despite going to this garage for many years my experience wasnt the best on this occassion.

He said it would many things in the car and it is throwing up a few errors but honestly the car is running back to the way it should so im not convinced he is tell me the truth.
What pissed me off the most if he charged me labour for replacing the coil pack when he has to changed the spark plugs anyway as part of the service?

Your suggestions would be appreciated!

One more thing best aftermarket shocks please??

2003 A4 can't have an FSI engine AFAIK. FSIs started shipping a couple of years later (~2005). And I'm fairly sure it doesn't have an NOx sensor either. It has Oxygen sensors though which are $50 - $100 a pop.

i took it to my audi independent mechanic he was the one who pointed it out in my long life service
I did doubt him a little but after a second opinion it has although i dont feel its affecting the car too much!
