Default Oil Pan bolt trouble

06 2.0T, trying to drop the oil pan to clean the pickup screen. One of the hidden bolts that attach to the trans is rounded. 5mm won’t bite, 7/32 won’t bite. I’m so stuck, help me brainstorm.

There are special sockets made for exactly your problem. They have teeth that dig in as you turn them. Sears or a reasonably large hardware store should have them.

It occurs to me that the bolt may be rounded off because it's stuck. You can make a breaker bar with a piece of pipe that will fit over the wrench. Believe me, when you get one of those sockets (you might have to hammer it on), it's not going to slip. You might try penetrating oil also, let it soak in, etc. As opposed to breaking the bolt off in the hole. GL.
