Default Part # for Color Driver Information Display (DIS)?

Does anyone know the part number for the center-dash Color Driver Information Display (DIS)?

I've got a RSN-E navigation unit on order from clairparts and I'm considering swapping out my red-only DIS at the same time.

Thanks.

Default I think there's a lot more involved than just a simple swap.

Been posted here a while back and it was no easy task.

Default well, the post install procedures aren't difficult

as I understand it, it's just getting the information needed for the procedure that's a pain in the butt...cause only dealers can get that info, and it's not even all that easy for them! once you get the info (codes and such iirc), the actual procedure for configuring the display to work with the ECU/car wasn't too bad as I recall

Default yeah....

got a spare gran for an instrument cluster?

its not a separate part... its the whole cluster... and since you cant exactly exchange your old non color one for a color one.... you gotta buy a new one or buy a reman and pay a core fee... figure a gran.

Default I'm not sure the SKC for our cars equipped with red will work in the color display...

It has been tried and I never heard back from any of them saying they were successful. It didnt work for the B5 either. Oh well. cheers! Mike

RNS-E: $2899 + $20 shipping, not including the DVD or manual.
