Performance Brakes - AP Racing, Brembo or Stop Tech
 

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I want to get a big brake kit for my A4 and I want to here your opinions and knowledge.

AP Racing, Brembo, Stop Tech or another brand.

Any suggestions? Reviews?

ECS is not in the same league...
 

Think AP Racing is the lightest, followed by Brembo, then StopTech. StopTech is the cheapest though. Feel free to chime in if I'm wrong with any of the above.

I believe you're right- Stoptechs are definitely the bargain of the bunch.

true... but ecs is an alternative = 0 )

Not sure which ECS kit you're referring to...
 

Their Stage 3 (Porsche Big Red) is not quite as nice as the others, but it is a little cheaper than Stoptech. It certainly does the job.

Stage 4 is cheaper still, but heavy and probably overkill.

Do you have facts to back this up?
 

Just because most of our kits are priced more aggressively than others, does not mean they are not in the same league.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your products are bad...
 

All I'm saying is that it's my belief that big companies would have more resources to research their products. Besides, AP Racing, Brembo and Alcon are companies capable of making brakes for demanding applications like Formula 1, thus the comment that your products are not in the same league.
