Problem with Error Msg and Left Rear Parking Light...
So, for the past couple weeks, I have received an error message saying that my left parking light is out; however, the light is obviously not out. About once every 10 days, the error message disappears, but it always comes back. Has anyone experienced this problem???

It might be in the process of burning out
This summer I had similar symptoms, thought the car was crazy at first, but then I noticed the light was out, and a few minutes later back on. After a couple weeks it burned out completely. Since I changed the bulb, everything has been fine. It was just slow to burn out. I suspect, you may have something similar going on.

interesting how this is being brought up now.
i have the same problem. left brake light is out on the control module. however, the thing is lit. Funny how this crap happens in the cold.
because maybe the cold is what temporarily breaks it. been around 0 here in ri/ct.
