Default Received some goodies from Germany today !

I received carbon fiber trim and S4 instrument cluster. I got the S4 cluster because I want the color screen.

The carbon fiber look great but with my beige interior it does not look that good, I personally prefer the wood trim with my beige interior. However, with ebony interior, the carbon fiber look gorgeous. So I think I'm going to sell the carbon fiber, if you interested email me.

The S4 cluster with the color display looks very good. I love the high resolution of the color screen, it is a lot better than red screen I have.

Default I cant believe the cluster worked...

On a lot of cars they have a security feature in the cluster so they cant be swapped. Does your mileage now read back to "0". On a lot of cars the mileage is actually stored in the cluster and not the ecu. Good job for blazing the trails. Now if you could get rid of the S4 logo, that would be sweet. BTW, i just sent you an email so check it out if you will. cheers! Mike

Default YGM too ...

You are right. My car didn't start when I swaped the clusters but I just wanted to test it and take some pics. The mileage is diffirent than mine. I am going to figure out a way to make it work with my car.

You're dealer should be able to re-code it for you, but only if they REALLY like you
