Steering wheel noise when turning on signal

Steering wheel noise when turning on signal
Hello all,
I am sure you will be able to help me out. When I put my turn signal on, I get the creaking noise when I slightly move the steering wheel to the left and right. Regardless of the direction of the turn signal.
I first thought it had to do with the coil in the steering column but then I narrowed it down to when I put the signal on.
Any ideas or has anyone heard of this. Sounds like some interference or something.
2005 Audi A4, B6 (4 door) 1.8T, about 210, 000 Km.
