Service Manual

Service Manual
Hi All,
I just today purchased a 2005 Audi A4 Quattro* and have a quick question for the wise people out there: Is the Bentley service manual the best option for a thorough service guide?
I've used the Bentley guides for a couple prior cars (VW and BMW), but the reviews on Amazon seem pretty mixed. Did Audi publish its own service manual?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Nice to see this forum, I appreciate everyone taking the time.

2005 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
*I purchased the Audi because apparently my 2013 VW Golf TDI is an environmental menace and VW is buying it back from me. Hopefully the Quattro will do better in the snow.

Josh - I can't speak to the service manual question, but can assure you that your Audi will be unstoppable in the snow, limited only by the ground clearance, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TIRES. This means snows in the winter (Nokia's are the best, with Michelin's right behind at a good savings). The rest of the year there are a few really good all-weather tires, check Consumer Reports or Tire Rack for their recommendations.
Find a good Audi mechanic, and have the car gone over. There will be few things that will be revealed, but better to get them all done at once so you won't be pestered by them popping up one at a time. GL!

That's great. Thanks! There are already Michelins on there with maybe 10K on them. I've started looking for local mechanics. - Josh

Post a message on here: "Looking for an Audi mechanic in the Somerville MA area." A really good general mechanic will be ok 85% of the time - it's the other 15% that can cause you heartache.
