I had a weird experience recently

i was driving the car on saturday night and all of a sudden the check engine light came on, the car ran fine, no loss of power or anything

so i drove the car home, when i started it up the next morning, the whole car started shaking, the engine idled very rough, so i shut the car off and let it sit because audi service is not open on sundays

then later that day, i started the car up to move it, and the check engine light had gone off and the engine idled and drove fine


the only thing i can think of that could have affected the car is that it had been raining very hard for the past 3 days, but i don't know if that has anything to do with it


any ideas?

is there anything i should be worried about?

any help would be great

Exact same symptoms when my coil went ... DO NOT DRIVE IT !

exact same thing happened to me, I had to have the car towed to Audi, and they repaired the problem, it was the ignition coil.
