Are there any drop in air filters that don't require oil?

Brands are not important either. STP is Made in EU, for cheap! Fram foam gasket seals awesome...
which is the most important thing. That hard urethane gasket on K&N fits like ****, imo. Don't let people BS about "flow", factory sized filter will flow perfectly....once you have adequate flow, more does NOTHING. As you probally know, K&N filteration is poor. A paper filter filters better and filters better over time too as larger pores get filled, the air has to pass through smaller pores. I clean and rotate my filters at 15k and toss them at 30k, but my trick is the 1st 15k, I have pantyhose or drywall mesh tape on them which I remove to give it a good cleaning.
