Thinkin about a B6 Avant>
Hey guys, used to have a B5 (totaled)
Now have a TT
Need another 'more practical' car to make the TT a weekend car.
I'm really leaning towards an 02 or 03 Avant.
Besides the 'normal' Audi stuff (that I'm already well aware of) is there anything specific to 02 or 03 years I need to be aware of?
My old B5 was an 01 so the engine I know is very similar to the B6
Thanks all!

Time to get flamed>
But I actually would prefer an Auto; just because I plan on driving it a lot (and in a lot of traffic)
The TT will suffice as my weekend 6 speed car! :-D

Stay away from 2002 if you can (first year of the B6; tends to have more problems)
2003 is a good bet, although they had some fuel pump problems (resolved under a recall). Coilpacks go, interior switches peel, fuel pumps die, but that's about it really. Just make sure you get a Tiptronic and quattro, and not a CVT (automatic but FWD) (that's a whole different issue)

My 02's been fine. Anyway B6 was out on 2001 in Europe.
Haven't seen any evidence that 02 is less reliable - and there were a few things like heated rear seats that they later "cheaped out" on.
