Transmission doesnt engadge
Hi all,
I have a B6 1.8T CVT.
I'm having a problem and it seems to be associated with the engadgment of the D "gear" of the CVT. There is no Problem in R or when the car is already moving at speed.
Problem description
When it occurs:
1. The car is put in D from any other gear OR
2. While in D, it has come to a compete stop, if I hit the gas in an attempt to move.
When I hit the gas to move off, the engine revs, but the power doesn't go to the wheels. Its as if revving in N. There seems to be no engadment of the engine to the wheels. The car also rolls back sometimes at this stage.
Then al of a sudden, everyhting is engaded and "squeeeellll!!!!" there goes my tires and its accompanied by a jerk.
I'll go somewhere without life and try to make a video or two.
I hope someone can help.
