I have a 2005 with 2004 parts, mfg 06 of 04, Audi A4 Quattro, I replaced the engine due to head gasket, before we removed the engine the only engine code that came up was for the 219 relay which we replaced and it fixed that, we also replaced he coil pack wire harness. After replacing the engine, it starts right up every time but there is engine code, transmission won’t move at all, key fob won’t work, and can’t read OBD2 port like it’s frozen keeps saying link error on two different code readers.

I checked all the fused and they are good. I also pulled up the passanger side carpet where water gets in and i dried it all up.
Car runs normal.

Any help?
