Problems I have: Does not always go into and/or stay in reverse.
Triptronic will either not work (no P R N D) even on the driver info center) , or will work when it "wants to". Shifting to a certain point then wont anymore for ex.
P R N D will light up and flash.
What do I have to do?

The best first step is to get the Transmission Control Module scanned for fault codes. You could also try disconnecting the plug for the transmission, close to the driver's side inner CV joint, a round connector that rotates to disconnect if I remember correctly. With no power to the solenoids, the transmission should go into Park, Reverse, Neutral, and Drive (4th gear only). If you don't get Reverse this way, I'd assume that either the control lever on the transmission, operated by the shift handle, is not moving to the R position, or that there is an internal problem. By the way, the transmission fluid has to be at the correct level, and if low enough that the pump sucks in air, may not shift into Reverse. That was my experience after a guy I hired did the fluid refill wrong.
