turbo shft points?
As a follow up to an earlier question I had about my perceived loss of turbo boost.
What are the ideal shift points in each gear to maximun turbo boost(stock car)?
Also is there a point in each gear where the turbo power levels off? Like say if you accelerate past a certain rpm in a certain gear?
Thanks for the help

For max acceleration you want to shift at about 5000 rpm, the torque is flat a bit higher but by ..
the time you nail nail the clutch you're maxxed, so look for 4800-5000 for your aggressive shifting, otherwise about 3500 is perfect.

so does that mean i should feel a real "pull" from 2K through 5K rpm?
I'm asking because it feels like, while still accelerating, the actual pull (or boost) levels off after about 3k-3.5K rpm

You are not feeling boost your feeling tq and by 3.5K the tq level is getting flat
but your hp level should peak at 5K rpms. You want to shift around 5500-6K rpms if you wish to make the car as fast as it can go. If you shift too early you end up losing momentum during shifts and lose more time to gain the speed back. While your running stock boost you should hold that boost level to 6K easy. But when you get a chip you will notice that boost levels drop off after 5500 rpms.
