Ive got a 02 1.8T Quattro, Manual of course and want to go zoom zoom faster! Suggestions on turbo's? I was thinking of just putting in a K04 Turbo, an intercooler and upgrading my ecu? I already have a custom built fiberglass cold air intake and flow thru exhaust mufflers and upgraded piping from the Cat. All suggestions, pics and links welcome however I am very interested in the Turbo and intercooler aspect of things. Thanx

A quality complet big turbo kit with the turbo, programming, fueling, intercooling, clutch, and exhaust will run about $6500-$8000 or more if you go exotic. Figure safely being into the 340-400chp range depending on the kit.

A quality complete K04 kit with the turbo, programming, fueling, intercooling, clutch, and exhaust will run about $4200-$5500. Figure safely being into the 250hp to 290hp range depending on the kit.

Keep in ming peak hp and tq are just that. The two options will provide power quite differently.

You can subtract the price of a partial exhaust (you'll likely want the hiflow cat) or about $800-$1100 from the above numbers.
