Update 2: Sprint Booster + K04 + Lemmiwinks
So this morning as I'm pulling out of my garage, I notice the difference immediately having set Ch 12 to 80% load. The throttle is not as touchy causing the car to jerk but the throttle response is still there so when stepping on it slightly, the car moves immediately without the lag. It still doesn't feel as responsive as when I had it set to 85% where the car would just go at a tap of the throttle. However, its still much better than without the Sprint Booster.
I set it to 82% when I got to work so I'll see how it does on the commute home. I'm hoping that at 82%, it'll give me the perfect setting I'm looking for...no jerk or at least very minimal but that "on tap" acceleration. Original Thread |
Glad it worked out Greg.

Thanks Alfonso!

So the software change backs off a little on the sprint booster abruptness?
|
Yeah, it scales back the engine load so it smooths it out a bit.
Ch12 : SEL Scaling (Turbo Cars Only)
Adjust fueling maps according to boost settings - Higher number increase injection period for higher boost - Lower number decrease injection period for lower boost |
Interesting
Where does one acquire Lemmiwinks these days?
I thought it didn't work on GIAC ECU files since they locked down most of the values it could read/write. I'm so out of date... |
You can download it from ecodetuning

I did read some posts about GIAC and using Lemmiwinks but definitely it works for me. |
i am curious if without the spring booster if you could bump it to over 100% and acheive the
same affect?
|
Max value is 100%.
|
i wonder if it can be writtain into the software?
