Went in for 45,000 mile service today - My thoughts...

You need to replicate the sound...
In my case I knew it showed up in reverse turning at extreme angles ie; leaving a parking space. I was also able to do it on panic stops without ABS.
I also had initial problems with the car drifting to the right. I would not let it go and finally they had the "factory regional rep" get involved with the alignment. I would not place blame on the dealership for what Audi built which helped my case...until the popping at which point I could place blame knowing the history of my car.

Ha ha. Good point. Actually...
I switched advisor this year because I initially had her 2 years ago then thought the same thing and switched to the Advisor I conversed with while waiting for my car. He had adequate knowledge on the Audi cars so I requested the change. Then he annoyed me even more because every thing I wanted to do he questioned and test drove himself. He believed he had better knowledge than his customers so he acted like the final say if it was normal or not. So this year I switched back to my initial advisor and just gave her pastries when I visited so that she would not question me as much and told me when Rusnack Audi couldn't honor my request.
But this may be my last service with them because I'm now going out of free service so I'm switching to an Indie shop. I do have extended warranty, so I may go back once in a while.

I guess they just hate me :(
What's weird is that Audi also confirmed this when I called why I was denied. They asked for my VIN, then said it wasn't covered.

I know they do give one free replacement...have you gotten one before? I guess it depends on the
dealer and if they decide to give multiple replacements or not. I've only gotten one replacement but I have not tried asking for another. I will though when I bring the car in before 50k to get a inspection on the car.

No replacement at all. Original wipers. Weird thing is a few months back...
the guy who changed my bulb said if I wanted to change the wipers as well. I said next time when it wears out. Now I want them to replace it, they deny me. Weirdos.
