what is the difference between tiptronic and multitronic?....

basically, multitronic gives you the performance and slightly better fuel economy
than a manual but is smoother than a rolls royce.
infinite gears, you can turn it into a 6 speed tiptronic if you really want.
Gives engine breaking going down hill, basically, its always in both sports and economy mode depending on how you use the accelerator.
The tiptronic is on its way out as multitronic will eventually be mated to quattro and higher power engines.
I believe the best term for the multitronic would have to be audis silver bullet, it does everything!
