Default Country code? There is a feature like this on the playstation, you cannot play games from another

country unless you "mod" it with a "chip". Maybe the same thing applies to DVD's. Im not 100% up to date on DVD's and the MPAA's B.S.

Default DVDs made in different Countries tend to not work on American made DVD players.

Different countries use differnt encryption (I think thats the word) to write their DVDs.

I became aware of this when DVDs my Spanish teacher bought in Cuba wouldn't work on the DVD player at school.

Default nah i don't think so unless they coded to A8 to something weird...

the Nav in the A8s has the same exploitation system as these "new" Nav... so one would expect the DVD maps of NA used in the A8 to work in the A4... but i guess not...
i'm sure once the NA B7A4s start showing on our shores someone is gonna figure a way to get these to work on the B6A4s...

Quick Reply: from what i know these units do not work in our us spec a4's...
