Why would any dealer want to void warranty work due to aftermaket parts
They still get paid for the work either way. It just seems more customer friendly to bill AOA then the customer.

Ive never had anything voided,
but ive been told upfront that they would not replace worn aftermarket brake pads, rotors, etc.
under warranty. but exceptions have been made, sort of.

oh i don't know...maybe because it is a business and AoA can refuse to pay when audited
Why would they want to risk it? It's your fault that you messed something up, you should pay for it! Take some resposibility on what you did by introducing different parts to the system.
