Message center indicated I had a dipped headlight. The headlight would come on eventually if you turned them off and on several times. Ended up replacing the HID bulb with a new one and got the same reaction. Headlight would not come on initially but would after several off and ons. Anybody ever had this issue?

you can try cleaning the contacts where the bulb plugs into the socket. make sure you got the right one because i had to make 2 trips to get the right one, after id taken the headlight apart. if that doesnt work trace back the cabling and make sure there are no kinks or tears in the cables, which could cause a short between the 2 wires. if thats not it, you might want to consider changing out the socket.
