Wipers stuck
 

Last night, my wipers were working as they should, and then for some reason they will not go down to the normal position. they start and stop in the up position and they will only go down to when i turn off the ignition right at that time. It is like they have been reversed. They stop in the vertical posiotn rather than horizontal alond the car hood. Any one have any ideas? I am going to VAG my car to see any DTC codes. Does anyone know what codes the wipers are listed under? Thanks!

no, they were working fine, then all of a sudden rather than starting from the horizontal position, they started from the vertical position and stayed in that vertical position. It is like everythng is opposite of what it should be. it thinks that the vertical position is the horizontal position..and vice versa......

Dealer says:
 

bad wiper moter. will need to replace. In the maen time I will have to drive with vertical wipers.
