Would this work for our cars?

heh, I could just imagine that guy at a car show, showing off his engine made out of PVC piping
;)
|
of course. It would just look dumb.

IIRC, DLSJ5 has something like that setup to run to his fog enclosure- More pics in his pic poster.

Here's a link to the original thread, while it's a similar idea, I used no PVC piping...
Still working great, and when you pop the hood, you can't even tell it's there, very stealthy.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/583222.phtml</a

Originally i posted that link as a JOKE but, your system looks really nice.
Does that fog housing tube run to the air filter? If not, I'm surprised you haven't had any problems with bugs or rocks or anything like that. But then again, I have no idea how the stock airbox works.
|
Thanks Jared, the 3" from the fog goes directly into the box...
Just as the other two stock sources do. It is prior to the air filter. I've looked inside the box every now and then and suprisingly it's been very clean. I used the fog hole because with my FMIC and Caractere bumper i had to loose the fogs, I've got a few friends who just run the 3" tube down to the grill area.
