Yellow fogs? Yea or nay?

I know this has come up before as I did a search. Since I did the sweet fog light mod on my '03 and can now run fogs with parking lights, I'd like to upgrade my fogs a bit from stock, and was thinking about going yellow for the euro look, and for some slightly added functionality. Where is a good source for these lights? Someone recommended the website below. Are those bulbs trustworthy (They're certainly not too expensive!).

Click

I think it's a go...especially on a black car....

Yellow on an accent color like red wud be a bit much...but i think yellow on black especially is nice.

I bought the yellow ion bulbs from that site and they worked great.

They were much brighter than OEM but I didn't like how they looked during the daytime as they are my DRL's.

I have since moved onto 6000k HID fogs and very pleased with the results.

Re: Yellow fogs? Yea or nay?

I have those exact bulbs (the AdvancedOptik Yellow Ions). My only complaint is that they could be 'yellower.' Anything they shine on turns up yellow, but you wouldn't be able to tell the bulbs themselves emit yellow light from looking directly at them -- from a head on angle, they just have a slightly lower colour temperature than the low-beam halogens.

Also, if you do get them, don't be confused if they come in a box labeled 'Xenonmatch fog lamps.' It turns out that the store ships both the yellow ion and xenonmatch bulbs in the packaging. When I got my fogs in the mail, I was *convinced* that I had been shipped the xenonmatch fogs instead of the yellow ions -- the fog lamps themselves had a bluish tint in the box and the box claimed they were xenonmatch bulbs...go figure.

YAY...I have those and I love them. I've had mine for about 4 months so far and still no burnout.
